Carptackletrader began in June 2000 and since then has gone through several changes evolving into the site it is today www.Tackle-Trader.com. Due to the volume of traffic, the site gets, which is currently circa of nearly a million pages viewed a month - which equates to around on average 90,000 clicks onto the site per month making Tackle-Trader one of the busiest fishing based sites on the net. Consequently we thought it would be in the interest of our users to have an extensive fishery section that will cover the UK, Europe and the rest of the world, allowing users to have easy access to information about fisheries in their local areas or maybe even a holiday of a lifetime.

If your looking for a specific area to fish or you are after a certain species of fish, then we hope by looking at the fishery section you will be able to find exactly what you are looking for to help you find that perfect fishing session.  It is our aim to have a fishery section on the site that will hold more venues than any other site on the web, making it the biggest directory of fishing venues available throughout the Internet.

We will try to be as accurate as we can with the information given for each fishery, however this is obviously dictated by information that has been obtained from the fisheries themselves.   Tackle-Trader.com can therefore not be held responsible for any inaccuracies.  It is down to the user to validate information directly with the fishery in question prior to any transactions. Most fisheries will have a link onto their own designated website, thus allowing users to have a more detailed description of what the fishery has too offer.

The Fishery section is broken into several sections and sub sections i.e. the UK being broken down into counties and France into different regions. The rest of Europe will hopefully become more detailed as fisheries are added.  This will also apply to the rest of the world.
